INternational Gender Champions Network

The International Gender Champions (IGC) is a global leadership network that brings together decision-makers from international organisations, diplomatic missions, and civil society to advance gender equality in global governance.

Through its regional hubs, including the Hague Hub, the network promotes concrete commitments and collective action to advance gender equality across international policy, diplomacy, and justice processes. Champions collaborate to exchange knowledge, support institutional change, and strengthen accountability for gender equality commitments.

Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice serves on the Steering Committee of the International Gender Champions Hague Hub. In this role, we contribute to shaping the network’s strategy and activities while promoting feminist leadership and survivor-centered approaches within international justice spaces. We also collaborate with other Champions through convenings, discussions, and public initiatives that highlight gender justice within the international community.
