July 11, 2025—In September 2023, a global media campaign asserting serious allegations was launched against Ms. Brigid Inder, OBE, the co-founder and former Executive Director of Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice (WIGJ).

An administrative investigation conducted by an independent and external Dutch law firm has yielded no direct or indirect corroboration of the allegations. No indication was found that WIGJ or its staff were involved in or concealed any of the criminal misconduct covered by the allegations.

Based on the results of the administrative investigation, the WIGJ Board has concluded that the allegations against Ms. Inder, and by implication, other staff and WIGJ as a whole, are unfounded.

The investigation’s findings have been communicated to the relevant stakeholders, and with the conclusion of the administrative investigation, the matter is now closed.
