On the occasion of the 38th summit of the African Union, we join 30 Congolese, African and international organisations in submitting an open letter on the situation in the DRC to the heads of state and government attending the meeting of the AU Peace and Security Council scheduled for 14 February 2025.In the light of the catastrophic situation, these organisations are calling on the participating governments to take decisive action to put an end to the violations of the rights of civilians, to resolve the humanitarian crisis and to provide a political and judicial response to the crisis. A l’occasion du 38e sommet de l’Union Africaine, 30 organisations congolaises, africaines et internationales soummettent une lettre ouverte sur la situation en RDC aux chefs d’Etat et de gouvernement participant à la réunion du Conseil de paix et de sécurité de l’UA prévue le 14 février 2025.Devant la situation catastrophique, ces organisations appellent les gouvernements participants à prendre des mesures décisives pour que cessent les violations des droits des populations civiles, que la crise humanitaire puisse être résolue et pour une réponse politique et judiciaire à la crise.
