Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice joins more than 30 NGOs in urging States Parties to the Rome Statute to stand by their commitment to a transparent, merit-based, and free from political interference process for electing the next ICC Prosecutor.

The civil society group discourages out of the shortlist nominations and calls on States to ensure the continued integrity of the election.
