From 11 to 13 February 2013, the Executive Director of the Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice, Brigid Inder, was one of the external experts invited to present to 30 senior G8 policy advisors on prosecuting, investigating and documenting sexual violence. The meeting was organised by the UK Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative (PSVI) of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in preparation for the G8 Foreign Ministers’ meeting in April. The UK is making the PSVI a centre-piece of their G8 Presidency during 2013.
