Last week, the Executive Director of the Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice, Brigid Inder, OBE, who has served as the Special Adviser on Gender to the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the past four years, communicated to the Prosecutor her intention to not seek a renewal of her mandate when her current term ends in August, 2016.

‘It has been a great honour and pleasure to work with Prosecutor Bensouda and her office as the Special Adviser on Gender since 2012. I thank the Prosecutor for the wonderful opportunity to serve the Court in this role,’ said Brigid Inder.
