The Board of the Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice today announced that founding Executive Director, Brigid Inder OBE, will be stepping down from the organisation on 31 December 2017 after almost 15 years in this role.

Under Brigid’s leadership the Women’s Initiatives has established itself as an influential international women’s human rights organisation and a key advocate for gender justice at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The Board is sincerely grateful to Brigid for her exceptional service to the Women’s Initiatives and to the thousands of women we have supported through our advocacy and domestic conflict-related programmes.
