Joint civil society statement ahead of the IER final report
Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice joins ten NGOs in calling on the International Criminal Court and its states parties to maximize the unique opportunity provided by the final report of the Independent Expert Review.
We recommend that in this process the court and states parties be guided by the principles of genuine dialogue, scrupulous respect for the court’s judicial and prosecutorial independence, and transparency and inclusion.
