Following our amicus curiae filing to Trial Chamber II on 3 October and the subsequent invitation from the Chamber, on 11 October the Women’s Initiatives provided an oral presentation at the Hearing on reparations in the case against Thomas Lubanga. Mr Lubanga was convicted in 2012 of the war crimes of enlistment, conscription and use of children to participate actively in hostilities (child soldiers).  The Hearing on 11, 13 and 14 October was the first on reparations held by the ICC.
