The Profile of Judicial Candidates compiles information about the five candidates nominated to fill two judicial vacancies at the ICC, providing a breakdown of the candidates by region and gender; academic achievements and professional expertise; expertise on sexual violence, women’s human rights and victims’ rights; and affiliations and honours. The dossier is drawn from curricula vitae of the judicial applicants, the statements and notes verbales from their respective States and additional online research conducted by the Women’s Initiatives. The election will take place during the 8th Session of the Assembly of States Parties to be held in The Hague from 18-26 November 2009.
